Financial Supervision Act

We also advise entrepreneurs with questions they have about the Financial Supervision Act (Wft). For example, we can assist you with investigating whether your business and/or financing activities may be subject to licensing, or whether they are exempt from it. Based on this, you will know whether you need to apply for a license from the AFM (Authority for Financial Markets) or DNB (De Nederlandse Bank, the national Dutch Bank) (or both) – of course, we can guide you in this as well.

For all your questions regarding the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wft), you’ve come to the right place.

  • Assessing whether your activities require a license and whether you qualify for exemptions.
  • Guiding you through license applications or registration with the AFM.
Investigating and providing support in disputes related to market abuse or unfair trading practices.
  • Assistance with enforcement actions by the AFM or DNB, such as fines or penalty payments.
